ORIEL ARTS – Stage 1 was launched in the Granvue Hotel in Omeath County Louth with screen presentation by Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin. Launch speakers included Fergus O’Dowd T.D, and Dr Nicholas Carolan, Director Emeritus ITMA.
Live illustrative performances were by Dónal O’Conor (fiddle), Zoe Conway (fiddle) John McIntyre (guitar) Darren Mag Aoidh (fiddle) Sylvia Crawford (harp) Feilimí O’Connor, Gerry Cullen, Lillis Ó Laoire, Bláithín Mhic Cana, Piaras Ó Lorcáin, Siubhán O’Connor, Diane Ní Chanainn, Máire Ní Choilm, Brian Ó Domhnaill (singers)
